Roots Hostel - Osaka

my recent stay in osaka was made even better by roots. the location was superb, close to the station and convenient stores. the neighbourhood was quaint and quiet, with parks to enjoy. the lobby and bar staff were so friendly and even played our favorite songs after the concert. can't wait to come back with friends!

Bunk beds made the room a bit cramped.

During my New Year stay, I really enjoyed the friendly and accommodating staff at the hostel. They were helpful and provided great service throughout my stay. I appreciated the convenient location of the hostel, which was close to the metro station, making it easy to explore the city. I found it convenient that the hostel offered storage facilities for bags before check-in. It was a relief to be able to drop off my bags and start exploring right away.

There were a couple of downsides to my stay. the cleanliness of the hostel was not up to the mark.

The hostel had a fantastic bar and restaurant that stayed open late, making it a great place to mingle with other guests. The vibe of the place was amazing and I'll definitely be coming back with friends next time I visit.

I felt well taken care of during my stay and have nothing to complain about.

For the price we paid, the room was great and the bed was comfortable.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff at the bar/restaurant. Met and spoke to other guests staying at the hostel. The food and drinks served at the bar/restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced. The private room had a comfortable bed and a hot power shower that worked perfectly. The location was convenient, only a 5-10 minutes walk from the nearby metro station. Drinking water was available at any time, which was essential during the hot summer weather.

The lack of English instructions for the AC remote, washing machine, and dryer made it difficult to use these amenities. It would have been helpful to have an instruction guide on how to get to the hostel, especially for first-time visitors to the city.

Comfortable bed, good facilities, and convenient location. My favorite part was the pleasant surprise of the lobby staff playing my favorite music after a concert. I'll definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Roots in Osaka for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided great recommendations for tourist attractions. The location of the hotel is ideal, with easy access to the city center. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with amenities such as individual lamps and tables for convenience. A highlight was the delicious takoyakis in the bar downstairs. a highly recommended hotel!
